Expert tasting note: "Deep, dark, black red color. Restrained dark cherry fruit is overlaid with hints of leather & chocolate. Concentrated cassis and black-cherry fruit on the palate is lifted by lively acidity. The mid-palate shows elegant fine tannins & seamlessly integrated oak. There are notes of graphite & licorice on the mid-palate. Alcohol is balanced & the long finish opens to show black-cherry, dark red-cherry, blackcurrant and chocolate notes." - 04/24 (ep) DCAMW
